This piece began as a gift for my husband's birthday, crafted with the intention of intertwining elements of our lives that are profoundly significant to us. "The Lovers" tarot card, number VI in the deck, was an obvious choice—not only does it represent love and harmony, but it resonates with us being born in the sixth month, and even more so, with my husband's birthday on June 6th. The front of the hoodie features a striking thunderbolt, a tattoo we both share, encircled by our wedding anniversary in Roman numerals—a permanent reminder of our unbreakable bond. This emblem is more than decorative; it's a declaration of our commitment, a sentiment etched in ink and thread.
Flipping to the back, the hoodie transforms into a canvas narrating an ode to our love. Central to this tableau is the '138' in an upside-down cross, mirroring my husband's tattoo, juxtaposed with my own—the ocean waves.
